On December 25, 2000, “Symposium on the 60th Anniversary of Professor Song Tao”, organized by the School of Economics of Renmin University of China and co-sponsored by the Economic Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, was held ceremoniously at the Shaw International Conference Center at Renmin University of China. The theme of this symposium is: “Disciplinary Construction and Development of Political Economy”.
