The Canon PowerShot G1 is a digital camera with a 3.34-megapixel, 1 / 1.8-inch CCD that takes pictures with a maximum resolution of 2,048 by 1.536 pixels. It takes still life like three different compression ratio JPEG format or Canon RAW format to save. RAW image files are lossless digital compression saved in an image size of only 2.5MB compared to the uncompressed TIFF (approximately 9.4MB) files taken with most 3-megapixel cameras. The G1 also shoots up to 30 seconds of QVGA (320 x 240 pixels) audio digital cinematography at 15 frames per second.
