随着英语教学在小学教育中的推广,对学生综合素质的要求也有了质的提升。前些年学生只学习“A、B、C、D……”简单的英文字母,现阶段的英语教学涵盖了单词、语句、阅读以及写作。对于小学生来说,阅读恰是其中较难的一部分。若是单词记忆不牢,句型了解不够的话,是很难进行阅读理解的,而写作又是单词、句型和阅读的结合,因此,小学教师要重视小学生阅读能力的训练,提高学生的阅读能力。笔者将从四个方面谈谈如何进一步拓展学生的课外阅读,提升阅读能力。
With the popularization of English teaching in primary education, the requirements for students’ overall quality have also been improved. A few years ago, students only learned simple English letters “A, B, C, D ......”. At this stage, English teaching covers words, sentences, reading and writing. Reading is just one of the harder parts for elementary students. If the word memory is not strong, the sentence pattern is not enough to understand, it is difficult to read comprehension, and writing is a combination of words, sentence patterns and reading, so primary school teachers should pay attention to primary school students ’reading ability training to improve students’ reading ability . The author will talk about how to further develop students’ extracurricular reading in four aspects and improve their reading ability.
