在中共成都市委宣传部的关怀和支持下,中国音协四川分会、成都市文联委托东城区文化馆开办了“成都市星海音乐学校”,由四川音乐学院院长、音协四川分会主席常苏民任名誉校长。学校利用业余时间进行教学。开设了作曲、声乐、音乐文学、合唱指挥、手风琴、儿童歌舞、儿童钢琴等七个专业,学制一至二年。群众音乐骨干、业余音乐爱好者以及专业音乐工作人员均可报考。学校师资主要由四川音乐学院
Under the care and support of Propaganda Department of Chengdu Municipal Party Committee, China Society of Music Sichuan Branch and Chengdu Federation of Literary and Art Circles Commissioned the Dongcheng District Cultural Center to set up “Xinghai Music School in Chengdu”. Chang Sumin, dean of Sichuan Conservatory of Music, Honorary president. Schools use their spare time for teaching. He has seven majors: Composition, Vocal Music, Music Literature, Choral Conductor, Accordion, Children’s Song and Dance, and Children’s Piano.
