On December 29, 2002, 11 newly formed (reorganized) companies of China Power officially declared their listing in the Great Hall of the People. This is a major event in the history of the power system reform in China, marking that China’s power industry has entered a Brand new period of development. In the past year, under the specific leadership and guidance of the State Electricity Regulatory Commission, the power system has been focusing on the general objectives of the power system reform and actively building up government supervision in accordance with the requirements of establishing a modern enterprise system
