The years are so perishable that in October 1936 the Red Army of China’s Workers and Peasants has reached sixty years in northern Shaanxi. The revolutionary predecessors, who personally participated in the Long March six years ago, are now only one or two thousand in the country. In that year, they served as Red Army divisions and military-level leaders, leading the officers and men to storm their battles. General Zhang Zongxun, born in Weinan, Shaanxi Province in 1908, was admitted to the Whampoa Military Academy at the age of 17 and is the fourth student. Participated in the Northern Expedition, the Autumn Harvest Uprising and the Long March, Chairman Mao Zedong in 1955
