安徽省境内地形复杂,长江、淮河穿境而过,形成了沿江圩区稻作区、江淮丘陵稻作区、皖南山区等稻作区。沿江圩区稻作区白叶枯病一般为害不重,只有低洼易涝的地方,为害很重。皖南山区气候冷凉,为害也不重。江淮丘陵稻作区由于地形起伏不平,形成以中稻为主“四稻”混栽的局面,而且以前都是感病品种,白叶枯病的为害尤其严重;在这类地形中,又以低洼地发病最重。因此,迫切需要筛选出适应低洼易涝生态环境的抗病、高产良种供病区推广,以减轻白叶枯病的为害。从1982年
