第一次去长江南岸的重庆大佛寺是在春节时,虽然去过不少寺庙,但还是被大佛寺前盛大的上看场面震撼了。冬季是长江的枯水季节,寺前的河滩露了出来。一眼望去,沙滩上满是红色的蜡烛和香,灰白的烟以及黑色的香灰随着凛冽的江风飞舞,浓烈的香火味道甚至令人有点喘不过气来。香客们焚香膜拜的是一尊岩壁上的大佛。大佛慈眉善目,身披红色绸缎,端坐江边,左右各有一尊2米多高的佛像,佛龛上方刻着四个大字“重庆大佛”。
