效率性与科学性是企业选择决策模式时的永恒矛盾,对称论证型决策较好地兼顾了这二者,以有限的效率牺牲来大幅提升决策的科学性自然界大多数生物体的对称结构显然不仅仅具有美学上的欣赏意义,更有着重要的实用意义。例如,鸟类和哺乳动物的眼睛和耳朵都分布在左右两边。从单只器官来看,只能获得片面的信息;整体来看却使得大脑获得了尽可能全面的信息并因此做出更科学的决策。作为一个现代的组织管理者,无疑也可以从动物的这种信息获取与处理的对称结构中获得启发,一个典型的应用,就是在企业决策中引入对称论证型机制,即对称论证决策。
