据英国计算机新闻报导,美国数据产品公司1965年1月已把第一台RO-280(XN-1)UYK高速军用行式打印机交给美国海军船泊局。RO-280军用行式打印机是一台与数字计算机系统连用的可靠性高,速度快的打印机。它也能与纸带或磁带,通讯装备和其他类似的设备一起作脱机使用。这台打印机每分钟能打印72,000多个符号。RO—280能在战地工作,不怕冲击,震动和射频干扰。
According to the British Computer News, U.S. data products company handed over the first RO-280 (XN-1) UYK high-speed military line printer to the U.S. Navy Boats Bureau in January 1965. The RO-280 Military Line Printer is a high-reliability, high-speed printer for use with digital computer systems. It can also be used offline with tapes or tapes, communication gear and other similar equipment. This printer can print more than 72,000 symbols per minute. RO-280 can work in the field, not afraid of shock, vibration and radio frequency interference.
