日本专家近日发表研究成果说,他们新开发出一种针对阿尔茨海默氏症、即早老性痴呆的脱氧核糖核酸(DNA)疫苗。这种疫苗还处于动物试验阶段,有望减轻现有疫苗疗法的副作用。阿尔茨海默氏症的诱因是贝塔淀粉样蛋白在脑细胞中沉积,致使大脑发生萎缩。新疫苗主要利用合成贝塔淀粉样蛋白的DNA制成。新疫苗的作用机理是,注入肌肉后,它所含有的DNA指导肌肉细胞合成贝塔淀粉样蛋白。
Japanese experts recently published research findings that they have newly developed a DNA vaccine against Alzheimer’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease. The vaccine is still in animal testing and is expected to reduce the side effects of existing vaccine therapies. The cause of Alzheimer’s disease is the deposition of beta amyloid in brain cells, resulting in atrophy of the brain. The new vaccine is made primarily from DNA that synthesizes beta-amyloid. The new vaccine’s mechanism of action is that after it is infused into the muscle, it contains DNA that directs the muscle cells to synthesize beta amyloid.
