Bezoar is a curative effect of the precious Chinese herbal medicines, due to the limited source of natural bezoar, some of the medicine to artificial bezoar alternate. Cholic acid (bovine goat bile acid) is one of the main active ingredients of artificial bezoar. The accurate determination of its content is an important indicator of the quality of artificial bezoar.
