2001年11月南洋模范中学100周年校庆时,我出于对母校的感情,写了一篇《母校的教诲》刊登在校庆专辑上。校庆那天,我虽然因股骨胫骨骨折,手术后还不能行走,但在同志们的鼓励下,我还是坚持坐轮椅去了学校。校庆陈列室和专辑上展出和刊登了我1959年参加全国档案先进工作者会议时与周总理的合影照片,看到这些照片,很多往事顿时涌上心头。 上海刚解放时,我在南模高中尚未毕业,由于革命工作需要,遵照党组织决定,去市委党校学习,结业后马上参加了工作。1951年9月便调往市委统战部从事文书档案工作。我是新中国成立后第一代档案工作者,当时刚从学校出来不久,未经专业训练,也没有工作经验。有时领导和同志们要查档调不出,急得团团转。在领导和同志们的关心帮助下,我鼓起勇气,知难而进,努力学习档案专业知识,边学边干,干中再学。
When I celebrated the 100th anniversary of Nanyang Model High School in November 2001, I wrote an essay entitled “The teaching of my alma mater” on the album of the celebration of my school’s feelings. On the celebration day, although I was fractured by the femur and tibia, I still could not walk after the operation. However, with the encouragement of my comrades, I still insisted on going to school by wheelchair. On the showcase and on the album, I took a group photo with Premier Zhou in the 1959 National Archives Advanced Workers’ Meeting. Many of my photos suddenly appeared in my heart when I saw these photos. When Shanghai was just liberated, I had not graduated from Nanmo High School. Due to the need of revolutionary work, I decided to go to the Party School of the Municipal Party Committee and follow the decision of the party organization. After graduation, I immediately took part in the work. In September 1951, he was transferred to the United Front Work Department of the Municipal Committee for file work. I was the first generation of archivists since the founding of new China. At that time, I just came out of school shortly afterwards without professional training or work experience. Sometimes leaders and comrades want to check the file can not be transferred, anxious to turn around. With the help of the leaders and comrades, I courageously braved the difficulties and learned hard to learn the professional knowledge of the archives.
