I have always attached importance to diaries, documents and other historical materials. Objects left over from different elbow stages have been preserved where I think they have a reserved value. Having seen a former reader’s activist document for a children’s library reminded me of “my friend” in my life more than three decades ago. At the time of my elementary school, the Children’s Library became “my friend” in my life. It was my second school. Since its establishment in the fourth grade, it has just become one of my first readers. At that time, there was only one place for each class! After becoming a reader, I also helped volunteer attendants. The library organizes these of us as “reader activists”, sends out documents and often organizes events. The contents of the event are arranged in a posters with “reading feeling”, a forum with writers and so on. I remember participating in a series of discussions with writers on the topic of “One Hundred and Thousands”, “Unstoppable torrent” and the popular book “Hongyan”.
