张宗昌(1882-1932)是北洋军阀统治时期臭名昭著的军阀。他发迹于北洋军阀统治后期,通过拼命扩充和培植自己的武装力量,霸占地盘,割据称雄,成为独占一方的军阀;继而依仗权势,残民以逞,横征暴敛,穷奢极欲,积累起大量的私人财产,仅督鲁三年(1925—1928)就聚敛钱财3亿多元。当时社会上曾流传着张宗昌为“三不知将军”:一不知兵有多少,二不知钱有多少,三不知姨太太有多少。
Zhang Zongchang (1882-1932) was a notorious warlord during the reign of the Beiyang warlords.
