当碱性氰化物仍然充当着浸出金、银试剂的重要角色时,去找寻更好的其他试剂仍是一项重要的研究工作。硫脲就是一种经过检验的试剂。硫脲所具有的有利特性是,它从矿石中浸出金、银的速率要比氰化物溶液快,它受氰化物可溶矿物的影响也较少,它比氰化物的毒性也较小。然而,使用硫脲仍然存在着一些严重的问题,首先是价格比氰化物高,试剂耗量大,降解作用快,效率低。另外不适于使用活性炭的操作中。
While basic cyanides continue to play a key role in leaching gold and silver reagents, it is still an important research effort to find better alternative reagents. Thiourea is an approved reagent. Thiourea has the advantageous property of leaching gold from ores which is faster than cyanide solution and is less affected by cyanide soluble minerals and less toxic than cyanide. However, there are still some serious problems associated with the use of thiourea. The first is that the price is higher than that of cyanide, the consumption of reagents is high, the degradation is slow, and the efficiency is low. In addition it is not suitable for the use of activated carbon.
