1998年12月下旬,我们按照教育学院培训前调查摸底,培训后跟踪问效的工作要求,对全市所辖九县七区的待培普通中学正职校长进行课程需求和已训乡镇中心校长、普通中学副职校长进行跟踪问效的调查,并以此为据制定正职校长的培训计划,调整和完善今后提高培训的内容和措施,为“十五”培训打下坚实基础。 一、关于我市待部普通中学正职校长课程需求的调查 调查包括两个部分,即对正职校长基本状况和课程需求两个方面的调查。调查共发问卷368份,回收有效问卷334份,回收率达90.7%。 (一)我市正职校长的基本状况 1.年龄结构。从调查结果看,年龄在36岁至55岁的校长占调查人数的85.7%,表明结构基本合理,也表明正职校长具有一定年限的工作阅历,具有较丰富的教育教学实践经验。 2.专业结构。从调查结果看,正职校长中教育管理专业毕业的只占调查人数的21.5%,表明对非教育管理专业毕业的正职校长进行系统的教育基本理论的培训势在必行,即使是教育管理专业毕业的正职校长也亟待更新教育观念,拓宽知识面,获取教改新信息。 3.任职年限。从调查结果看,任现职时间在5年以下的正职校长占调查人数的67.1%,表明有半数以上的正职校长是近几年新提拔的,因此,主管学校全面工作的时间短、经验不足,需要通过培训提高其管理水
