高中语文第三册(必修)第314页注释⑦,将“无乃尔是过与”注译为“难道这不是你的过错吗?”这不符合古汉语习惯。 《季氏》文中的“无乃尔是过与”、“是谁之过与”的句式相同,都是有疑问代词的特指问句。这里的“和”均表示委婉商榷之意。这个意义后来写作“欤”。
High School Chinese Book 3 (required) Note 7 on page 314, translating the phrase “No Nail is too much” to “Isn’t this your fault?” This does not fit the old Chinese custom. The sentence patterns of “Kinai’s” and “Who is the past” are the same in the “Ji’s” article. They are all special question sentences of interrogative pronouns. The “and” here is meant to mean euphemism. This meaning was later written “欤”.
