湖南的龙山县和湖北的来凤县同处武陵山腹地,地理环境、生态环境、产业结构、民族构成、民风民俗、经济社会发展水平有着惊人的相似之处。两县县城隔酉水河相望,一水双城,全国绝无仅有,共同组成了武陵山区一个相对独立的发展区域。共同生活,孕育出民族团结细胞龙山、来凤两县现在60%的家庭都有亲缘关系,两省两县之间的“姊妹型”“妯娌型”姻亲关系不断增多,
