机械加工中的声发射是基本物理现象之一。在六十年代,美国首先把它应用于航天航空和原子能工业的结构完整性研究。七十年代在日本掀起研究应用声发射技术的热潮。至今,应用发射的无损检测技术已应用于科研和工业控制,甚至焊缝质量检测和控制之中。自七十年代后期起,它已开始进入机械加工和锻压加工领域之中。尤其是切削、磨削过程以及冷拔、挤压等方面的声发射研究已为各国学者关注。由于各项研究、实验还不够深入、全面以及实际问题的存在,它尚处于不断发展完善的过程之一。它所取得的初步成果已表明声发射技术的应用有着广阔的前景。
Acoustic emission in machining is one of the basic physical phenomena. In the 1960s, the United States first applied it to structural integrity studies in the aerospace and atomic industries. The seventies in Japan set off a wave of research and application of acoustic emission technology. To date, non-destructive testing techniques have been applied to scientific research and industrial control, even weld quality testing and control. Since the late seventies, it has begun to enter the field of machining and forging. Especially the cutting, grinding process and drawing, extrusion and other aspects of acoustic emission research for scholars in various countries. As the research and experiment are still not deep enough, comprehensive and practical problems exist, it is still in the continuous development and improvement of the process. Its initial achievements have shown that the application of acoustic emission technology has broad prospects.
