This year marks the third year of the “Ten Cities and One Thousand Vehicles” project. After more than two years of development, new energy vehicles have achieved some success in China. The overall demonstration operation of new energy buses has also begun to take shape and the effect of energy conservation and emission reduction obvious. A batch of cities demonstrating good results have emerged in 25 pilot cities throughout the country. In order to understand the demonstration operation of new energy bus in various places, Commercial Vehicle News reporter did some research. From Table 1, it can be seen that as of the end of 2011, only cities with more than 50% completion rate of demonstration projects of new energy passenger vehicles around the city
