推力矢量技术也称为推力转向技术。它是指改变发动机的喷气流喷射方向以控制飞行器运动的一种技术。这种技术早在40年代初已经使用,不过是用在火箭上,而不是飞机上。例如第二次世界大战后期德国轰炸英国伦敦的V-2火箭就已经在火箭喷口处装有可控折流片,利用喷气流的偏转来操纵火箭的飞行轨迹。直到现在,有些新式空空导弹,如俄罗斯的R-73和法国的“米卡”都采用类似方法来提高导弹的机动能
Thrust vectoring is also known as thrust steering. It refers to a technique that changes the jet direction of an engine jet to control the movement of the aircraft. This technique was used as early as the early 1940s, but on a rocket instead of an airplane. For example, the German bombing of V-2 rockets in London in the latter part of World War II had been equipped with controllable baffles at the rocket vents to utilize jet deflections to maneuver the rocket's trajectory. Until now, some new SAMs, such as Russia's R-73 and France's “Mika”, adopted similar methods to improve the maneuverability of missiles
