Objective: To investigate the relationship between different pulse wave velocity and the severity of coronary artery disease. Methods: A total of 176 patients undergoing coronary angiography were selected and divided into normal group and elevated group according to the pulse wave velocity. The degree of coronary artery disease was compared between the two groups. Multivariate analysis of pulse wave velocity and severe coronary artery disease was performed. Results: There was no significant difference in the incidence of normal coronary arteries and single coronary artery lesions between the two groups (P> 0.05). The incidence of severe coronary artery disease in the group with higher pulse wave velocity was higher than that in the normal group (P <0.05). Pulse wave velocity is closely related to the occurrence of severe coronary artery disease. Conclusion: Early examination of pulse wave velocity is helpful to delay the development of coronary artery disease.
