自1982年起,大西洋银行在澳门开始发行新版流通纸币,亦即1981版纸币,以取代之前发行的各种版本的旧钞。这版纸币包括5,10,50,100,500圆五种面值,由里斯本的国立印钞厂负责印刷。随后10,100,500圆三种面值又被再版发行,是为1984版纸币。此外,80年代末,澳门着手发行新版纸币,最早发行的则是1988版1000圆纸币,由德纳罗公司印刷,这款大面额纸币承上启下,因此亦可被归为80年代大西洋银行纸币之列。
Since 1982, the Bank of Atlantic has started to issue a new version of circulated banknotes in Macao, namely the 1981 version of banknotes, to replace various versions of old banknotes previously issued. This version of the note includes five, 10, 50, 100, 500 rounds of five denominations, printed by the Lisbon State Banknote Printing. Then 10,100,500 rounds of three denominations and has been republished issue, is a 1984 version of banknotes. In addition, in the late 1980s, Macao embarked on the issue of new notes. The earliest issue was the 1988 edition of a 1,000-yen note printed by Denaro Corporation. This large-denomination note was also linked to the bank notes of Atlantic Bank in the 1980s .
