When people study certain mathematical problems, they often do not focus on the various components of the problem. Instead, they consciously enlarge and examine the “perspective” of the problem, consider the problem to be solved as a whole, and study the overall form and overall structure of the problem. Or after all sorts of overall treatment, the purpose of solving the problem smoothly and simply is achieved. Like this psychological process of studying problems from a holistic perspective, psychology is called holistic thinking. The overall thinking is a higher-level thinking activity, and it is more simple and jumpy in thinking. Therefore, for middle school students, there is a certain degree of difficulty in overall thinking training. This also requires that we must fully tap into the overall elements of the teaching materials in the ordinary teaching and lose no time in infiltrating the overall thinking. We must start the whole thinking training from the shallow to the deep.
