通过对我国钢铁企业的资源能耗和污染物排放情况进行研究发现,以吨钢为单位进行归一化处理后的环境数据,只能对单个环境指标进行单排序,并不能对企业整体的环境绩效进行综合评价。因此,采用万元产值为单位对企业的资源消耗与污染物排放量进行归一化处理,企业的万元产值综合能耗与万元产值污染物排放量之间存在较强的正相关性,便于对企业的环境绩效进行综合性评价。
