Water supply technology is one of the earliest countries in the world to develop in China. The use of alum as a water purification agent is also a leading position in the world. Modern water plants are formed with the development of economy and science, and foreign countries use fast-filtering land as a sign of modern water plants. In China, the urban water supply has increased significantly, and urban water supply has generally failed to keep pace with economic development and improvement of people’s living standards. At the same time, people are threatened by the pollution of water quality, thereby prompting the continuous improvement of water extraction and water purification plant processes. Some cities in China adopt long-distance water diversion projects to purify water and improve water supply capacity; some cities (coastal cities) have begun to use inland rivers according to their characteristics.
