In this paper, Ningbo LPG underground gas storage project as an example, the British Petroleum Company (hereinafter referred to as BP) safety management. Project Introduction Ningbo liquefied petroleum gas base station project is the British BP oil company in China to build a large liquefied petroleum gas base station project. BP Ningbo LPG underground gas storage project is a part of BP Ningbo LPG base station project located in Daxie Development Zone, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, about 60 km away from downtown Ningbo. The total investment for underground project is about 140 million RMB. The general contractor is a consortium of Swedish NCC and Chiyoda Corporation of Japan. As a subcontractor of NCC, Ningbo Hydropower Bureau, the 6th Bureau undertook the project’s underground gas storage,
