现将江西省革命牺牲、病故人员抚恤工作方案随文颁发,希各地认真研究,迅速布置,贯彻执行。在第二次国内革命战争时期,我省老革命根据地人民在党中央和毛主席的直接领导下,与敌人进行了长期的、英勇的、艰苦的斗争,对革命事业有过伟大、光荣的贡献。许多革命烈士为革命事业牺牲了宝贵的生命。由于当时斗争激烈、艰苦,对为革命牺牲、病故人员的家属大都未进行抚恤。在抗日战争、解放战争、抗美援朝战争时期牺牲、病故的革命军人和革命工作人员家属也有个别的未受到抚恤。现在革命早已在全国取得了全面的胜利,为了表彰革命烈士对革命事业的伟大功绩,需要对他们的家属进行抚恤。对革命烈士家属的抚恤体现着党和政府以及全国人民对革命烈士的尊崇、追念和对革命烈士家属的无限关怀。做好这一工作必将进一步激发革命烈士家属和广大人民群众的革命热忱,动员和鼓舞革命烈士家属和广大人民群众更好地为实现社会主义建设和社会主义改造事业而斗争。各地必须认真拟定计划,组织力量,在党、政统一领导下,密切结合中心工作,及进胜利完成这一政治任务。
