子曰:“吾十有五而志于学”。这说的是人生立身、进业和修养之始。《中国大百科全书》自1978年创业,历15年时光,从无到有,于今以煌煌然74卷巨帙、1亿多字、近8万个条目构成一座宏伟的知识大厦,巍然立在人们面前。我国当代两万多位权威学者和编辑,为此付出了劳动和心血。这样一部现代典籍性大书,自然是我们国家和我们时代科学文化发展水平的标志,也是我国当代一项重大文化基本建设成果。
