打开刘秀英的文件柜,看到横的一排纵的一摞都是我国著名的古建筑木结构与木质文物的勘查保护报告。翻开关于故宫慈宁宫区的一本,里面有文字,有图表,记载着每一根柱子每一根檩条的材质状况。在刘秀英的另一个柜子里,装的是一个个盒子,里面是码放得整整齐齐的长条型的玻璃片。每两块玻璃片之间夹着的是古建筑木构件的切片。薄如丝帛的切片,能提供大量的研究信息。刘秀英是中国林业科学研究院木材工业研究所的副研究员。
