In 1996, he received a doctoral degree in agriculture from the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. In the same year, he entered the postdoctoral research center of China Agricultural University and was assigned to work in the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences in 1998. Long-term engaged in crop drought water conservation appraisal and germplasm resources innovation theory and method research. Identification of drought resistance in crop evaluation of technical indicators, identification and selection of drought resistance of crop germplasm resources, genetic diversity analysis, drought-related gene expression analysis, genetic mapping population creation and drought resistant water-saving gene molecular markers, and small
