上海市北蔡绣衣厂是生产出口绣衣和丝绸时装的乡办工厂。该厂生产的绣衣和丝绸时装以款式新颖、图案绚丽、做工考究、质量上乘著称于国际市场,产品远销日本、美国、加拿大、澳大利亚、西欧、香港等20多个国家和地区。1983年荣获对外经济贸易部出口产品荣誉证书。1985年生产各式绣衣和丝绸时装75万件,为国家创汇900万美元。在上海国营和集体丝绸时装出口行业中,雄居产量、产值、创利、创汇四个第一。
