密尔沃基是密歇根湖西岸的港口城市,也是威斯康星州的工商业大城。此项规划是对其位于城市主轴的威斯康星大街尽端、密歇根湖畔的7.5英亩土地进行设计。目标是:把湖滨的优美自然景观同城市中心的文化生活与社会活力联系起来;通过近期的规划效果为较大规模的长期公共投资战略打下基础;为城市规划中人所熟知的如何使城市向水边发展的问题摸索新经验。这一设计基本围绕着一个多层大平台进行。平台下设有1200车位
