2007年,一场由国有企业、跨国公司为主导的企业社会责任报告的发布热潮在社会上引起了广泛关注。据不完全统计,截至2007年12月,在中国发布企业社会责任报告或其他同类报告的企业已经超过80家,其中有20余家为在华外资企业。纵观这些报告,既有寥寥3页的报告,也有近百页的报告;既有遭到社会诟病的跟风做秀者,也有获得国际认可的优秀范本。很显然,企业社会责任报告不仅需要量的增长,更需要质的飞跃。如何编制一份高质量的企业社会责任报告?这既是报告发布者们为之不懈努力的目标,亦是本书作者心之所系。于是,继《企业社会责任行动指南》、《责任竞争力》、《全球企业公民必读》之后,本书作者历时一年时间,于2007年12月献上又一力作《如何编制企业社会责任报告》。中国企业联合会副理事长陈英在序言中评价,本书是“一本理论联系实际的报告撰写指南”。该书填补了我国企业社会责任报告研究领域的空白,对报告编制实践具有指导意义。《WTO经济导刊》作为中国报道企业社会责任的权威媒体,2008年伊始,将以连载的形式,从《如何编制企业社会责任报告》一书中摘编出十余个核心内容,每期讲述一个内容,以飨读者。
In 2007, the release of a corporate social responsibility report led by state-owned enterprises and multinational corporations aroused widespread concern in the society. According to incomplete statistics, as of December 2007, more than 80 enterprises have released CSR reports or other similar reports in China, of which more than 20 are foreign-funded enterprises in China. Throughout these reports, there are only a handful of 3-page reports and nearly a hundred pages of reports; both follow-ups who have been criticized by the community and excellent models that have gained international recognition. Obviously, corporate social responsibility report not only needs the amount of growth, but also need a qualitative leap. How to prepare a high-quality corporate social responsibility report? This is not only the goal of the publisher of this report, but also the author of this book. So, following the Guide to CSR, Competitiveness of Responsibility, and Global Corporate Citizen Essentials, the author of this book lauded another masterpiece in December 2007, “How to Prepare a Corporate Social Responsibility Report ”.
