先生20世纪40年代初生于江苏无锡,60年代初毕业于北京师范大学,是我国改革开放初期最早赴美求学并获得比较教育学专业硕士和博士学位者。先生曾长期在中国前中央教育科学研究所、联合国教科文组纟只等机构工作,也曾在加州大学洛杉矶分校、纽约州立大学、奥科拉荷马大学、华盛顿大学、乔治亚大学、雪城大学、北京航空学院、北剠市范大学、国家教育行政学院、华东师范大学等国内外十余所院校短期从教或做访问学者、兼职教授及研究员。
Mr. Born in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province in the early 1940s and graduated from Beijing Normal University in the early 1960s, he was one of the earliest graduates from the United States to pursue studies in the United States and received Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in Comparative Education from the early days of China’s reform and opening up. He has long worked in China’s former Central Institute of Educational Sciences, UNESCO and other agencies, and has also worked in UCLA, New York State University, University of Oklahoma, University of Washington, University of Georgia, Syracuse University , Beijing Aeronautical Institute, Beibei City Fan University, the State Education Administration College, East China Normal University and other domestic and foreign more than 10 institutions to teach or do visiting scholars, adjunct professors and researchers.
