For the machining of tapped holes and small holes on the bottom of a part of the type shown in Figure 1, a hole was drilled into one hole of a Z35 radial drilling machine in the past, resulting in low productivity and labor-intensive work with an average of only 16 units. In order to change this situation, we designed and manufactured an eccentric multi-axis drilling machine (Figure 2) to produce 45 classes in a row with a tripling of efficiency and a drastic reduction in labor intensity.
