American medical doctor Fred J. Epstein, director of pediatric neurosurgery at New York University Medical Center, one of the world’s foremost authority of brain surgery. He pioneered a number of difficult surgical procedures - including the removal of tumors on the spine and cerebrovascular vessels that he previously considered incapable of surgery. However, it is unbelievable that such a brilliant achiever was judged as a student with a serious learning disability while studying for school.
