根据直线电机应用到垂直进给系统中需要解决移动部件重力平衡及制动锁紧等问题,结合现有机床垂直进给系统设计采用的平衡方案,提出了一种气体平衡用于直线电机驱动高速垂直进给系统的平衡方案,分析了断气自动锁紧原理,给出了平衡系统的性能分析。对自动式气体平衡及制动锁紧系统进行空载情况下的平衡性能试验,在进给速度为30 m/min时,测试不同气压性能下的Z轴电机负载,结果显示:气压为0.52 MPa时,系统平衡性能最佳。
