December 20, 2012 The Taihu Lake Basin Authority of the Ministry of Water Resources hosted the “Water Diversion” pilot project in Shanghai and the completion and acceptance meeting of the pilot project for diversion of water to the Yangtze River. Acceptance meeting set up a project completion acceptance committee. The meeting held that the water diversion pilot project of “leading to the Yangtze River too” and the water diversion pilot project of “diversion to the Yangtze River” had been completed in accordance with the construction contents, standards and scale respectively. After the implementation of the project, the amount of water resources in the basin was increased, and the water environment in the river basin was improved; the investment in the project was controlled in a reasonable manner; the final financial accounts were completed and audited; the project data were complete and the requirements for archiving were met;
