课外练习是初中英语教学的课外拓展及延伸,其目的主要在于帮助学生通过独立思考,对所学知识进行应用,灵活分析、处理问题,巩固其语言基础,最终提升英语综合能力。但是从初中英语练习设计的现状来看,仅仅注重机械的重复作业,严重地扼杀了学生对于英语这门语言的学习兴趣及学习积极性,不仅没有发挥课程标准要求的作业练习的积极作用,反而成为阻碍课程标准实施的高墙。一、初中英语有效练习设计原则
