The body protein content of juveniles in each micro-pellet feed group was not significantly different from that of Diet 4 group but higher than that of Diet 5 group. However, the fat content of juveniles in the microparticle feed group (10.6% -13.3%) was significantly higher than that in Diet 4 group (7.6%) and Diet 5 group (7.2%). Although the content of C20: 4n-6 (AA) in frozen copepods was slightly lower than that of micro-pellets, the AA content of juveniles in Diet 4 and Diet 5 groups was significantly higher than that of micro-pellets. The juvenile diet C22: 6n-3 (DHA) in Diet 4 and Diet 5 groups were higher than their corresponding feedstuffs respectively. In contrast, juveniles of the micronized feed group had a lower C20: 5n-3 (EPA) than that of the microparticulate feed. These results indicate that the deposition efficiency of AA, DHA and EPA in juvenile fish in Diet 4 and Diet 5 groups is higher than that of the micro-pellet feed group. Studies have shown that large-sized yellow croaker juveniles available micro-particle feed “weaning ”. Based on Diet 1 over Diet 2 and Diet 3, this can be used as a basis for further research. In addition, it is necessary to study the changes of digestive enzymes and digestive tracts of juvenile large yellow croaker for each treatment group to evaluate the effect of the micro-pellet feed.
