(一) “刊物难办,学术期刊尤其难办。”这是编辑同仁们时常哀叹的一句话。仔细想来,办学术期刊的难处究竟何在呢?说到底,在于“社会效益”和“经济效益”两者难于统一:学术期刊要赢得较好的社会效益,苦于赚不了钱,赔本甚巨,不堪重负;要取得较好的经济效益,又苦于无从下手,再者,学术期刊的社会效益得不到保证。乍看起来,这使学术期刊进入了两难之间。 笔者认为,这种观点错很盲目,缺乏科学性。
