艾萨克.辛格因其小说以充满激情的叙事艺术来展现犹太文化以及人类的普遍处境而获得诺贝尔文学奖。本文从叙事学的角度入手,以辛格的短篇叙事故事《巴士》为例,从叙事视角、叙事时间和空间的设置及其他叙事技巧几个层面上来分析辛格的短篇小说,重点探讨辛格是如何通过有限、间断、淡化的时间序列来构建无限、立体和凸显的空间意象,从而达到时间序列叙事作品的图景化效果。
Isaac Singh won the Nobel Prize for Literature for his fictional passion for narrating Jewish culture and the general human condition. This article starts from the perspective of narratology, takes Singh’s short story “bus” as an example, analyzes Singh’s short stories from several angles, such as narrative perspective, setting of narrative time and space and other narrative techniques, How to construct infinite, three-dimensional and prominent spatial images through finite, intermittent and desalinated time series so as to achieve the effect of illustration of time series narrative works.
