此桩材为野生羊角柳,其特点为叶大节疏,且较易缩枝,不是理想的盆景材种,因少挖少养而罕见出作。我走访盆友园场见到该桩时,它已下山种育了几年。其干宛转,上下过渡较顺畅,下托枝曲折回旋。与盆友闲聊到该树可否提升的问题,我当时的感觉是整体角度稍偏斜,重心似有失稳,下托枝朝上,应有调整空间。盆友的园场为经营性质,知我意图后亦乐得将此桩让与我。
