湖北省襄阳市物价局成立于1983年,目前内设五科一室,下设5个二级单位,现有干部职工158名。近年来,襄阳市物价局在党委、政府正确领导和上级部门关怀指导下,紧紧围绕助推汉江流域中心城市建设这一目标,充分发挥价格职能,扎实推进各项工作,在价格改革、调控、监管、服务和部门自身建设方面取得了丰硕成果。先后荣获国家发展改革委、人社部联合表彰的“全国价格工作先进集体”、“全国价格监测工作先进单位”、“全国收费管理统计工作先进个人”、“省级最佳文明单位”、“全省价格工作先进集体”、“全省市场价格监管先进单位”等市级以上荣誉称号58项,局领导班子被市委授予综合考核“优秀”等次,14名领导干部受到上级记功和嘉奖,20多项工作在全省、全市相关会议上进行经验交流,得到了上级领导和社会群众的充分肯定。
