自1982年以来,罗山县定远乡水利站以开展综合经营为突破口,用经济承包的手段调动职工的积极性,收入逐年增加。1985年创利润四万元,盈余近两万元。定远乡地处罗山县南部山区,水利站共有职工24人,统管小一类水库3座,小二类水库2座,小水电站2座。从1982年起,该站随着水利工作着重点的转移,解放思想,大胆承包,广开生产门路,大力开展多种经营,不仅解决了人员吃饭问题,而且灌溉效益和资金
