黄、红麻在玉林种植历史悠久,是本县主要的经济作物之一。建国32年来,种植面积、总产和单产均有所增加,1976—1980年平均每年种植面积37,352亩,总产120,266担(精麻,下同),单产322斤,与1950—1952年比较,分别增长1104、21.6、1.9倍。从一些种麻较好的社队来看,生产潜力是很大的,如成均公社大岭二队,79年种植20亩,平均亩产560斤;樟木公社新龙28队80年
Yellow, kenaf plant in Yulin has a long history, is one of the county’s major cash crops.
