Party history work in Fujian Province has been fruitful. After completing the “Fujian Local History of the CPC” in the period of the new democratic revolution, it is necessary to concentrate on doing well the work of collecting history of the party during the socialist period. The leadership in charge of the work of the party history at various levels and the comrades engaged in the work of the party history should constantly deepen their understanding of the status and role of party history in the new period. The history of the party in the era of socialism is the result of our party’s arduous exploration and its gradual establishment of the correct theory and success of building socialism with Chinese characteristics
