The cement concrete temperature self-compensating strain gauge developed by the Suzhou Institute of Concrete Cement Products of the National Building Materials Bureau was appraised in Kunshan County in November 1984. A total of 14 representatives from the Beijing Municipal Engineering Research Institute, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Tsinghua University, and Beijing Aviation Academy attended the appraisal meeting.
